An Easier Way to Do Amazon Returns
One of the biggest concerns for shopping online is the return policy. We all know Amazon’s return policy is a good one, but still, the hassle of returning via snail mail is not ideal for many of us. Even with the prepaid postage print out, you still have to repackage the item and take to your local post office to ship back to Amazon. Starting in October at select Kohl’s locations, this is changing.
Clothing Returns
Clothing is one of those items that you need to have the flexibility to easily return. Sizes vary across brands, so you need the ability to try the item on! The actual fabric texture and color, not just how it appears on the screen, is important also. My personal shopping mantra with online clothes is dependent on past experience with the way a particular brand fits and appears. I only shop brands online that I know should fit me and are well-made.
Amazon Returns at Kohls
Now Amazon and Kohls are debuting a new way to return Amazon items in select stores. Starting in October, 82 Kohl’s stores in Los Angeles and Chicago will begin accepting Amazon returns. These Kohl’s stores will also have Amazon stores inside, which will sell Amazon Echos, Fire tablets, and other technology gadgets. According to Kohl’s, items can be returned free of charge regardless of return reason. Additionally, Kohl’s will package and transport all returned items to Amazon return centers. That is such a convenience! Kohl’s will also offer designated parking spots near the store entrance for quick returns.
While this is not currently offered nationwide, I can imagine if all goes well, more stores will be added. This is yet another way these companies are changing to meet needs of busy moms, helping us live our priorities.
