Online Grocery with Free Delivery is Here

Walmart and Amazon are changing the online grocery landscape, making online grocery a no-brainer, with their wide selection, competitive pricing, and free delivery. With the acquisition of jet.com in summer 2016, the Walmart.com website has notably improved in speed and convenience.  For example, order a few times online and you will see how they pull up your previous purchases.  With one click, these items can be added to your current cart.  Order a minimum of $35, and you receive free delivery in 2 days!

Convenient

Remember dreading the grocery store trip because a) it’s crowded, b) the lines are slow, and c) kids in tow is just difficult sometimes?  Now, you can shop online for groceries and opt to pick up at your local Walmart (that is participating in this program), or have the groceries delivered to you!  Delivery is extremely convenient because you do not have to plan a trip to the store!  You will end up making some other trip at some point either to your local farmer’s market or grocery store for perishable items. That is true if you choose delivery; with curbside pickup, you can order the perishables too.  But, if you’re like me, you prefer to purchase your produce from other places like farmers’ markets and local grocery stores anyways.

Saves Time and Money

With online grocery, you are not driving from store to store chasing every deal, but you are saving time by shopping online and using previous lists.  Sometimes, Walmart offers rollbacks that are really a good deal. Mom’s Priority is continually looking for ways to save moms time and money, and will pass these along when we have solid solutions to share!

Free Service

As I mentioned before, delivery is a free service from Walmart.com when you spend $35 or more.  That is easy to do at Walmart or Amazon, which offers free delivery for Prime members.  The Walmart curbside pick up is also free when you spend $35.  Regardless of how you shop, grocery retailers are all investing in online grocery solutions because it simplifies grocery shopping for us and the market is headed that way!Shop through Mom’s Priority’s online shopping platform, write reviews for other moms, compare products, and have products shipped by online grocery stores like Walmart and Amazon.  If you haven’t yet tried online grocery, you should, and I hope to share more solutions with you soon!
